Doesn't This Feel Good To Everybody?

OK...

First of all, it is good to see the cast and crew of The New Dark Ages excited about the internet again!!!! I knew this day would come, but I must say that it couldn’t have come at a better time!!

And I just wanted to take my time, "Tuesdays" (sorry I don’t have a catchy name like Wag’s Sundays with Blog or Sam Mondays Convo Machine 2.1 or whatever), to take a few moments and tell you a little bit about myself:

I grew up the poor young deck swab of a Greek fisherman. Later, I met Jeff Fernengel -- you’ll meet him tomorrow (live streaming on the NDA!) -- and we decided that it would be a good idea – no, check that – a really good idea to start to get excited about the internet again!!! And... to start this website you now know as The New Dark Ages. That was like two years ago, almost. Fast forward to today.

We’re excited again about our broadband connection!

Since then we have gone through many ups and downs (stock market) and mainly it centered around our enthusiasm for the internet in general. It has been challenging. And just last week when we were getting ready to hang the "under construction" sign on our little internet website along came a small bearded fellow posting from a stolen computer in Brooklyn, USA, to shake us out of our collective slump and get us back on track. And for that we are eternally gracious.

So, before I finish I should tell you that there are a couple of important things you may want to know about life outside of the internet and a few other things that will allow you to waste countless hours of your life on the internet once more:

Tonight is the world premiere of Tim & Eric Nite Live on Super Deluxe. This will be an exclusive live broadcast every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. EST with television stars Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. You’ll be able to interact with them on the internet with your Skype and Media Player in a live format setting. Here is a promo:

Also, that new Coen Bros. movie (starring John Olexovitch in 20 years) comes out this weekend... it looks tight.

I know that lots of people thought you were crazy for hiring all those people to make this website Y2K compliant, but you did it anyway and, thanks to you, the Internet survived. You saved the Internet, Bobby Miller. We all owe you a huge debt of gratitude.
