Moviola is our city’s equivalent to the grizzled veteran and/or the crafty left-hander –- they just keep on coming with high-quality stuff while completely disregarding the ordinary laws of nature (and music) by seemingly getting better with age. Both Dusted and Muzzle of Bees tapped them to pitch this week. Sure the hot-shot rookie might be the sexier pick, but these are the guys I have the most confidence in to deliver when the lights shine the brightest. And the moral of the story is: if you haven’t picked up a copy of their latest record -- Dead Knowledge -- you might as well hit the showers punk, because you can’t coach those who won’t listen.
