Slum-B-Q 4

We'll start talking about bands involved next week, but let me just give you all a little taste as to what will be going down for Slum-B-Q 4 on Saturday, September 8th.

We're basically going to utilize every inch around Carabar on Parsons – this is gonna be a seriously badass party.

Stretched across 4 parking lots and the bar itself we’ll have shenanigans going on all day including: 15 bands and 6 solo artists staggered on 2 outdoor stages and the Carabar stage. Over the main parking lot we’ll have a tent with beer sales benefiting charity. We’re going to do an honest-to-goodness pig roast (+ veggie options) coupled with a full-scale, free-to-enter PIG basketball tournament with cash prizes. Down at the Chop Chop Gallery we’re gonna roll out an art bazaar with upwards of 20-25 artists selling their “reasonably priced” artworks. Chop Chop will also be host to some cool performance art shit.

All of this for the totally affordable ticket price of FREE!

Next week we’ll get in to further specifics. In the meantime, we will obviously be needing volunteers out the ying yang. Compensation will be in the form of beer tokens, super good times and other potential goodies. All shifts needed – partner up with friends to maximize the fun quotient.
