The Other Blog Meat

So, you guys might find this interesting? We have a page or web page or site that we can go to in order to access our website “statistics”. For example, I can see how many “hits” The New Dark Ages has received from Latvia in the month of April (answer: 512). Who knew? Also, I can see how many people have visited the NDA (10,205 unique users) and how many of those people bookmarked the site (968). I can clearly see that 80.6% of NDA readers are pimpin’ on Windows and 57.1% are viewing the site via MS Internet Explorer (28.2% are on Firefox). These numbers are all very entertaining and informative at the same time.
But, perhaps the most telling statistical of all is the Top 10 Keyphrase Search list. It’s given to me in a top ten list and you might find the results quite shocking!
This Top Ten list tells me what “phrases” people used in various search engines (ex. Aks Jeeves) in order to find The New Dark Ages. What is fascinating are the results. And here they are…
#9: “sean ewing”
#7: “futurama”
#4: “new dark age”
#3: “grey goose pear”
#2: “newdarkages.net”
AND #1… no shit… I am not kidding…
#1: “bacon”
I don’t remember writing anything about bacon, ever, but apparently 5.1% of the traffic we received via search engines found us that way. I don’t drink Grey Goose Pear, either. Don’t touch the swill. But, that’s not the point.
The deal is who doesn’t love bacon!? This in turn means, who doesn’t love The New Dark Ages!? Come to think of it, that might be a great question for Aks Jeeves.
So, in conclusion, if you have any statistically speaking questions please feel free to forward them my way via the comment section below and I will answer them in the comments section below.
OK, thanks! And thanks for makin’ bacon #1!!

Equation for the Perfect Bacon Sandwich
You say you spent a lot of time in the kitchen coming up with the "perfect" something - omelet? salad? macaroni and cheese?
But you have nothing, and I mean nothing, on researchers at Leeds University, who spent over 1,000 hours testing 700 variations of the bacon butty, aka a bacon sandwich.
The study, which was commissioned by the Danish Bacon and Food Council, is not a joke. How could it be, when the scientists actually derived an equation? If you're wondering what it takes to make the perfect bacon sandwich, it's N = C + {fb(cm) · fb(tc)} + fb(Ts) + fc · ta.
I've been meaning to figure out the perfect recipe for Korean BBQ ribs (galbee). Looks like I have a lot of hours to put in.
I'm confused.
That can probably be summed up the the fact that sean ewing likes to watch futurama while drinking grey goose pear and eating bacon.
What an asshole.
we're doning way better than i thought
