Splendid American

Of special note to Columbus NDA’ers...
Kicking off Wexner Center’s "Storytelling 2007," a special year of programming by the Cartoon Research Library focusing on graphic narrative and celebrating the centennial of Milton Caniff's birth, will be tonight’s candid conversation with Ohio native and well-noted comic killjoy Harvey Pekar. You may know Pekar as the hilariously sad subject of 2003’s highly-acclaimed film American Splendor. Tonight he’ll discuss his life's work with Associate Professor of English Jared Gardner.
The event will take place at 7PM in Mershon Auditorium. It is free to the public.
