We Hate Mixtapes Vol. 1

Our good friend Justin Riley (of Terribly Empty Pockets and The Proper Nouns fame) has started a new digital mixtape club and here at the NDA we plan on doing our part to help nurture this cool new project.
Basically, new mixes will be created and released on a bi-weekly-ish basis by a different NDAer (or whoever wants to get involved). The zipped mp3s can easily be downloaded by anyone from anywhere in the world.
Justin will be the manager for the club, so let him know if you’re interested in making a mix by emailing him (20hz20khz [at] gmail.com) or jump in the convo over here and add your name to the schedule.
We'll be announcing the release of each new mix, so you can always stay in the loop by simply doing what you already do... reading the NDA.
The first mix curated by Justin himself is up and ready for you to download and enjoy. It’s 12 tracks at 35 minutes, a 50.4MB zip file.

The Final Fantasy and Peter Bjorn and John tracks are fantastic. I'm a little disappointed that there is no contrabassoon, double kick drum, or jew's harp anywhere on this mix, but overall it's pretty great.
Will whoever does this next please put at least one song with orchestral hits in their mix? Please?
totally awesome.
oh, and step through the portal is such a gem... i'm so glad you put it on there!
