Fresh off a big spread in Entertainment Weekly in which they named him one of their Entertainers of the Year, The New York Times has confirmed an AP report that Stephen Colbert and Bill O'Reilly will swap appearances on each other's shows on Thursday, January 18th. ''I look forward to the evening,'' Colbert said. ''It is an honor to speak face-to-face with a broadcasting legend, and I feel the same way about Mr. O'Reilly.'' Set those TiVo’s Nation, this is the moment we’ve all been waiting for.

Satellite Radio May Try a Merger
Sirius’s base is at about six million subscribers, up 80 percent from one year ago. XM has increased its numbers by more than 30 percent, ending 2006 with 7.7 to 7.9 million customers. And now, industry speculation says there may be a dramatic merger of the two services in the not too distant future. Howard Stern? He’s filthy rich either way.
