Happy 60th David Bowie!

Whatever you call him -- Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, the Thin White Duke (!?) –- just don’t call David Bowie 59 anymore, because on Monday the Brixton-born icon turned 60-years-old. As part of the celebration the BBC released "60 Things About David Bowie," just as word began to spread on his next project: curating and playing the inaugural New York City Highline Festival. It’s a 10-day fest (May 9-19, 2007)!! Although he has made guest appearances with David Gilmour and The Arcade Fire, the show would be his first proper concert in nearly three years. And though no official announcement has been made it is rumored that alongside Bowie the festival will include performances by his personal favs TV on the Radio, the aforementioned Arcade Fire and the one and only Daniel Johnston, among others.
