Surely you've ALL heard the story about the VU & Nico ("Norman Dolph") acetate that was found real cheap at a random NYC yard sale and touted as "ARGUABLY THE RAREST & MOST IMPORTANT ROCK 'N' ROLL AND POP-ART ARTIFACT IN THE WORLD". I'm sure you also read where it recently sold on eBay for $25K (after an original bid of over $100K turned out to be bogus). Well, apparently this guy has a "nice rip" of the original mix acetate for your free downloading pleasure. How he has this material and why he has made it available remains a bit of a mystery, but the link appears to be legit -- the cuts are understandably a bit scratchy though. I'd get on it quick-like as I can't see this being available for very long.
