In Theatres This Weekend

Brothers of the Head is a feverish, mind-bending odyssey of conjoined twins Tom and Barry Howe who were plucked from obscurity by a 1970s music promoter and groomed into the biggest glam band in the world. The premise is pretty dark and intense, yet completely fascinating. I mean think of all the greatest bands in rock history and imagine what it might be like if their respective stars were attached at the chest. Jagger and Richards? Lennon and McCartney? Vedder and Gossard? Fatone and Bass?

Also opening this weekend: Scoop (Woody Allen’s latest starring Scarlett Johansson – which I am actually very excited to see), Miami Vice, The Ant Bully, 13 (Tzameti), John Tucker Must Die, I Like Killing Flies and Another Gay Movie.
