In Theatres This Weekend

The newest by Director Robert Altman documents all the zany frivolities of a 32-year-old radio variety show coming to an unexpected end. Hopefully it doesn't put me to sleep like his last couple of snoozers Gosford Park and Dr T and the Women. If the cast is any indication of the film’s quality, this should be a good one. Then again, Altman always attracts top-notch talent.

A Prairie Home Companion stars Lily Tomlin, Meryl Streep, Maya Rudolph, Lindsay Lohan, John C Reilly, Woody Harrelson, Kevin Kline, Virginia Madsen and Tommy Lee Jones.

Who am I kidding; you’re going to see Cars aren’t you?

gosford park was brilliant, and nominated for an oscar no less. but, you're right, i'll prolly go see cars. i'm a sucker for pixar movies, even though i'm creeped out by seeing inanimate objects humanized. bobby, i'm sure you're going to see fast and furious tokyo drift.
